Modernist Solid Oak Counter Stool

Pair of artisan-made newly restored solid oak counter stools from the 1980's. Inspired by the clean lines of French modernist design, these stools have 'X' bases with sleek angles and rounded seats with a slight lip.

Made of sturdy thick oak, the footrest is inset into the wood legs via seamless joinery and a pair of rounded insert handles have been sculpted under the left and right sides of each seat, allowing for easy moving.  In addition to being newly restored, these stools were produced with 0 screws or hardware, all smooth and clean joint work.
