Gunnar Nylund NSQ Stoneware Vase for Rörstrand

1950s, Sweden. Model NSQ. Rare vibrant glaze and color. Signed on underside with Gunnar Nylund “GN” Signature with the Rörstrand “R”. Gunnar Nylund was a 20th-century modern ceramicist, best known as the artistic director of Rörstrand for two decades. He designed and crafted over 30 reliefs and sculptures in public spaces, which are now featured in some of Europe’s most prestigious museums in Paris, Sweden, and Denmark.
