1940s, Finland. This Finnish shearling armchair, designed by Carl-Johan Boman for Oy Boman AB, features the manufacturer’s mark on its underside for authenticity. It has beautiful tapered wooden legs and is upholstered in cream sheepskin. Carl-Johan Boman was a key figure in Finnish furniture design during the early 20th century. As the head of Oy Boman Ab, he played a pivotal role in shaping Finnish modernism with high-quality craftsmanship and innovative design. In great vintage condition.
