American, Early 19th Century, artist unknown, no apparent signature. Original antique oil painting on canvas of a farm life landscape. Painted in the folk art style of the American School of the Early National Era depicting a large central rooster with colorful feathers and plumage. Beautiful cracks due to age give the painting an added layer of dimension. Presented in an antique gilt carved wood frame.
